Robert Hammond, Executive Director of Friends of The High Line and native of San Antonio, helped turn an abandoned freight line above the streets of Manhattan’s West Side into The High Line, New York City’s preeminent linear park. Hammond’s lecture on reimagining the use of public infrastructure will be followed by a panel discussion on San Pedro Creek Culture Park, currently one of the most important urban planning projects in the nation.
