Amartya Sen is the 1998 recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize for Economics Sciences for his work in welfare economics. Sen currently serves as the Thomas W. Lamont University Professor and Professor of Economics and Philosophy at Harvard University. Because You Can't Recycle the Planet, along with a dialogue on Thursday, April 7th in the Russell Hill Rogers Lecture Hall at the Santokos Building from 7-9pm.
