We our steady on our way to begin San Anto Cultural Arts 51st Mural in collaboration with Martinez Street Women's Center and Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. This mural is special because it showcases major accomplishments by African American women in San Antonio to help guide young women into outstanding careers instead of unplanned pregnancies as a teen. The Peace and Dignity Journeys is a ceremonial run that occurs every four years. It is a prayer run that unites native communities from North, Central, and South America. Runners in the Northern or Eagle route began the prayer in Chickaloon, Alaska on May 1st and have carried sacred staffs representing specific prayers through native communities in Canada and the United States.
