Journalist, film director and former Israeli settler, Lia Tarachansky will make a stop in San Antonio to present her documentary film, “On the Side of the Road”.
The film explores the Israeli denial of the Nakba, the violent expulsion of Palestinians from their land and homes in 1948 to establish the state of Israel. She follows the transformation of Israeli military veterans trying to uncover their denial of the war that changed the region forever.
The film takes us on a journey from the streets of Tel Aviv to her old neighborhood in the settlements.
This is a free event, but donations are welcomed.
