San Antonio, this is a call to action!
In light of recent events, SAPD has elected to publicly express support of Donald Trump, during Donald Trump’s visit to San Antonio, despite this being against SAPD policy.
Make no mistake! This is not a call to action supporting Hillary Clinton or her campaign. We rally to hold our Police Officers and City of San Antonio accountable. And expect to see the SAPD officers disciplined appropriately.
The act is not only distatsteful, but concerning to us as a community. We have not only seen cases where we have yet to recieve justice for incidents of police brutality, but the City of San Antonio and San Antonio Police Officer’s Association just passed a contract on September 1, that was completely devoid of Police Accountability.
In this time, where we are promised that our City is working very hard to build trust between the Police and Community, recent acts have shown us otherwise.
San Antonio was recently voted to be an All-American city, while SAPD officers toat their Donald Trump hats in the public and in their uniform. They have shown where they stand. Now we will show our stance.
At 6:00 PM, we will be heading a press conference. Following that we will be having a rally.
