Film: No Sanctuary – Big Business & Family Detention

Southwest Workers Union will host a movie screening of “Sanctuary: Big Business & Family Detention” to raise funds and attention to end family detention.
The film is a short documentary that gives a brief history of family detention. Filmmaker, Matthew Gossage follows a mother, Sara and her 7 year old daughter who were detained in the Karnes Family Detention Center that is operated by the GEO Group.
Funds raised will go toward the bail bond of families that are still detained in these and other detention centers.
