10 Años de Fotohistorias Exhibit Opening

Come celebrate with us 10 years of our En Aquellos Tiempos photobanner and oral history project on Sept. 24 at 7 PM at the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center (922 San Pedro Ave.)

This exhibit is Esperanza’s Fotoseptiembre event.

Since 2006, we have been collecting and scanning photos from the late 1890s to the 1950s of the Historic Westside of San Antonio from community members. We have turned many into photobanners, but we still have many that have never been shown to the public.

Although this exhibit will highlight some of the photos from our banner project we will premiere never before seen photos y historias de San Antonio Gente.

This event is free and open to the public, but donations are always welcome. 🙂
