DESCRIPTION: \nCome celebrate with us 10 years of our En Aquellos Tiempos photobanner and oral history project on Sept. 24 at 7 PM at the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center (922 San Pedro Ave.) \nThis exhibit is Esperanza’s Fotoseptiembre event. \nSince 2006\, we have been collecting and scanning photos from the late 1890s to the 1950s of the Historic Westside of San Antonio from community members. We have turned many into photobanners\, but we still have many that have never been shown to the public. \nAlthough this exhibit will highlight some of the photos from our banner project we will premiere never before seen photos y historias de San Antonio Gente. \nThis event is free and open to the public\, but donations are always welcome. 🙂 \nIf you or someone you know would like to share their stories or photos with us\, please contact us at (210) 228-0201 or esperanza@esperanzacenter.org \n
