The peaceCENTER is entering the fiesta frenzy this year with Compassionate San Antonio meals & buttons. We’ve only produced 300 medals, for which we are asking a $5 donation so that we can recoup some of our expenses. Or more. We’ll take more. Think of them as rare artifacts. King Antonio tosses them by the tens of thousands. We have 300.
The buttons — we have 1,000 of them — are free. The trick is to find us. We’ll have a stash at the San Antonio Book Fair on Saturday, 11 April from 10AM-5PM at the Central Library and at the Anti-Genocide Walk on Sunday, April 12, 2-4PM at the Barshop Jewish Community Center. If you get one, wear it with pride.
