Catholic priest Philip Berrigan, Tom Lewis, the Reverend James Mengel and David Eberhardt — known as the ‘Baltimore Four’ — protested the Vietnam War by pouring blood on Selective Service records. This was the first of more than 100 draft board actions across the country that spanned the years of 1967 – 1972.
