Thirty six were arrested for blocking the corporate entrance at Honeywell, Minnesota’s largest defense contractor. The “Honeywell Project,” a local campaign against the arms maker, dogged the company for over three decades. It continues today, targeting Alliant Technologies, the arms-making branch of Honeywell that was spun off in the 1990s, a manufacturer of artillery shells made with depleted uranium.
