The Southern Baptist Convention, during its annual meeting in Dallas, Texas, voted in favor of a boycott against the Walt Disney Company for what the Convention called “anti-Christian and anti-family” productions in its various media outlets, giving benefits to same-sex partners of employees, and for hosting Gay Pride days at Disney parks. The boycott ended in June 2005.
