Trinity University is holding a lecture by Tom Bremer entitled “San Antonio’s Historic Missions – Sacred or Secular?” The lecture will explore the joint leadership of the National Parks Service and the Catholic Church in shaping the usage of the historic missions in the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, balancing sacred and secular purposes, and how the UNESCO World Heritage designation may affect relationships of sacred and secular in the park.

The Department of Fine Arts at San Antonio College (SAC) will present the drama Doubt: A Parable by John Patrick Shanley and directed by SAC Drama Professor Charles Falcon. The drama is set in a Bronx parochial school and centers on a nun who is the school’s principal suspecting a priest of having an improper relationship with a male student. Due to the mature theme of the play, no one under 12 years old will be admitted into the theatre.
