“At the River I Stand” is a documentary set in Memphis, Tennessee during the 1960s. Directed by David Appleby, Allison Graham and Steven Ross, this poignant film narrates the mobilization and self-determination of sanitation workers successfully unionizing. It covers two very eventful months in 1968 including the tragic death of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Memphis.
