Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival
Join us Saturday, October 22 during peak Monarch butterfly migration week as we celebrate San Antonio's unique place in the storied Monarch butterfly migration--right in the middle of the flyway. Mayor Ivy Taylor signed the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) Mayor’s Monarch Pledge in December, making San Antonio the first city in the country to become a Monarch Champion in the national campaign to encourage mayors and local governments to increase Monarch butterfly and pollinator habitat. This Fall Celebration offers kids activities, live music, delicious food and a raffle. The event also features a unique Pumpkin Path, where children hear stories from costumed characters on a path lined with pumpkins and luminaries during a fun-filled experience for the whole family. Costumes are encouraged. Admission for adults is $5; Children under 15 get in free.
