The dilemma of many young children from Central America who leave their homes for fear of threats, violence, and death is exposed in this Best Documentary (Academy Awards 2010) nominated film. Home is where the parents are; but that spot lacks security or safety from harm and harassment. Often travelling for months or years, some venture to join distant relatives; some hope to find work to support the families they left. These courageous and determined children have stories of hope and resilience, disappointment and sorrow. Come find out more information about these young immigrants and what we can do to appeal for their fair treatment. Know real stories and take real action.
