DESCRIPTION:8:30-9:00am\, UIW Library Auditorium\, “Pray for the Persecuted”\nJoin us for a time of interfaith prayer\, lifting up those of all faiths currently enduring persecution. \n9:00-10:15am\, UIW Library Auditorium  “The Complexity of Forgiveness in Post-Conflict Societies” by Dr. Larry Hufford\, Professor of International Relations at St. Mary’s University.  Dr. Hufford has researched and traveled in Northern Ireland\, Israel/Palestine\, and many countries facing challenges of distrust and hatred.  He is the past president of the World Council for Curriculum and Instruction and highly respected for writing and teaching in the areas of social justice and peacebuilding. \n10:30-11:45am\, UIW Library Auditorium\, “Which Way Home”\nThe dilemma of many young children from Central America who leave their homes for fear of threats\, violence\, and death is exposed in this Best Documentary  (Academy Awards 2010) nominated film.  Home is where the parents are; but that spot lacks security or safety from harm and harassment. Often travelling for months or years\, some venture to join distant relatives; some hope to find work to support the families they left.
