What does it take to survive in the face of adversity? What about sickness? A major disaster? Why do some people seem ‘stronger’ than others? At TPR’s Think Science: Human Resilience, we’ll hear stories about people who have been through traumatic events, and turn to a local researcher to learn a little bit about what makes it possible for humans to bounce back.
The hour-long discussion begins at noon on Friday, May 27 at the Pearl Studio. Doors open at 11:30. The event is free and open to the public. Optional lunches will be available for $5 when you make your advance reservation.
