Takin’ on Texas!

November 2, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Ever wonder HOW our state government works? Who has more power–the governor or lieutenant governor? Which legislative committees are most important? And what exactly DOES the Texas Railroad Commission do?

Join us in welcoming Debra Cardona, Professor of Government at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, who will hold a session on the “ins and outs” of Texas government. Together, we’ll address how Texas residents, voters, and activists can effect change in their state.

Food and coffee is available for order at the location. Let’s get together at Sabina’s Coffeehouse to eat and socialize at 6:30pm on Thursday, November 2nd. Educational session begins at 7pm. See you there!
