Peace, kings, queens, freedom fighters, lovers of love, peace, unity, and justice. Lovers of goodness. First let it be said:

“Love and peace and unity is not the absence of conflict, or to flee from it. Love is to dive head first into conflict, in the name of love; for the sake of peace and unity.”

The sickening reality is that our country’s attention towards our community changes as often as our emotions. It is very easy for some people, who have no direct connections to the tragedies that plague communities of color, to forget that the things we see sensationalized on TV is routine for us.
And more specifically, that the issues we see publicized Nationwide, has happened, and very well could happen again, locally in San Antonio, Texas.

Please join us Saturday, as we continue to apply pressure to the dormancy of our city. Our requests have become requirements. And our expectations have become necesseities.

The nature of Silent Protesting:

There is no voice more powerful than the voice of the voiceless. This notion is no better expressed than by this demonstration. Modeling this demonstration by the countless times it has been done sucessfuly across the country, we will chill the streets with deft silence, and express our dissension with our bodies, and the information on our signs. Many of our brothers and sisters can no longer speak. But that does not mean that their voices can not be heard.
