Please join San Antonio Against Slavery for our January meeting. It will be held on January 26, 2016, from 7-8:30pm at Wayland Baptist University, Main Campus, 11550 IH 35 N., Room 102. this program is free and open to the public.We will be screening the documentary: THE CANTINERA/Cantinera Girl.
The film is a story of a woman who was forced by her mother to work in a Cantinera, starting at age 13, and is still working there today.
Our November speaker, Dottie Laster, is featured in this film. She will join us again at this meeting for Q & A after the showing.
