Neoliberalism, Justice and Human Rights in Mexico: A talk by Laura Carlsen

On Wednesday November 18 at 7 PM Laura Carlsen, a Mexico-based journalist, will be at the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center discussing the current political and human rights situation in Mexico.

Laura has studied and written about the political situation in Mexico and its relationship to the US. She has written about the disappeared students of Ayotzinapa, the effects of NAFTA on Mexican workers and farmers, and the effects of the Mexican drug war. Laura has a TV program called Interviews from Mexico for Telesur a network based in Venezuela.

The event is hosted in conjunction with Trinity University.
