Monarchs & Climate Change: family-friendly STEM event

July 29, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Did you know monarch’s response to climate change is driven by how milkweed responds, and that ozone pollution damages milkweed?

Join us and learn more during a family-friendly STEM event with a panel discussion, butterfly and plant activities along with a demonstration that explores climate change and its effect on monarch butterflies, plants, and animals. Observe a butterfly enclosure with newly emerging butterflies!

Groups participating include the UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing, Moms Clean Air Force, and the UTSA Monarch and Milkweed Project.
