The 2016 Mayor’s Housing Summit will offer an opportunity for housing practitioners and advocates to get the latest information, exchange ideas and build relationships to support the creation of healthy neighborhoods. In addition to keynotes and general sessions, there will be five multi-session tracks running concurrently, from which attendees can choose:
Financing and Funding—innovative strategies and case studies from Texas and across the country
Homelessness—addressing local challenges through national best practices
Housing Commission Update—reporting out from the Mayor’s Commission
Innovation—design and technology strategies at the intersection of housing and sustainability
Policy and Planning—creating a regulatory framework that supports healthy housing production and neighborhoods
There are several opportunities to attend these sessions throughout the day, with a recap at the Open House in the evening.
