June Protest for Lucky the Elephant

JUNE 8TH MARKS THE END OF THE 60-DAY NOTICE OF INTENT TO SUE THE SAN ANTONIO ZOO. If you can make it out to any of Lucky’s events, mark this one down in your calendars. We need to get as many people to attend as possible.

This will mark our final weekly protest. Proceeding this date, they will resume on a monthly timeline, TBD. The protest, as always, will be at 11:00am-1:00pm. Rain or shine. We’ll be meeting in the train depot parking lot at the San Antonio Zoo.

Additionally, it is important now to continue raising funds for Lucky’s cause of action. There are some great giveaways you can get for donating, courtesy of and many thanks to Performing Animal Welfare Society – PAWS, Cocoally Clothing, The Elephant Pants, Burn The Ivory, and our local San Antonio artist.

Free Lucky from the San Antonio Zoo, Animal Legal Defense Fund, and One World Conservation greatly appreciate your support. This is the best way you can help Lucky during the 60 days. If you are approached by any opposition, please do not engage, stay calm, and contact Kelly or Melissa, and we will handle the situation.

We’ll have literature and posters provided, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like. We’ll now have coffee or water provided, weather dependent.

We’re looking forward to seeing everybody come together for Lucky. This is a family friendly event, so children are more than welcome to join in! Please send this out to EVERYONE you know.
