Join the Climate Colectiva Project for an afternoon of interactive activities that help us explore the connections between food and climate change. We will start with a round table discussion on what food access looks like currently in San Antonio and what we envision it as a community facing rapidly changing climate, water privatization and other local environmental factors.
Following our discussion we will have demonstrations on gardening, cooking, healthy drink options and how to make nixtamal (the treated corn that is used to make masa.)
Child care will be available with activities that help our youth learn about movement building through food and creativity.
