Texas Premiere: Inside Peace @ SA Film Festival

August 1, 2015 @ 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm

$15

You’re invited to attend the showing of the award winning documentary “Inside Peace” (see the attached flyer). The showing is at 9 pm on August 1, 2015 at the new Tobin Center. The showing is part of the San Antonio Film Festival.

This documentary was filmed in San Antonio. Several men who participated in the Peace Education Program offered by The Prem Rawat Foundation at the Dominguez State Jail are followed as they transition back into “free” life after prison.  This is an important film which documents the reentry after incarceration for several men who participated in the Peace Education Program (PEP) at the Dominguez State Jail. The PEP program is designed to help anyone clarify their values and what they want and don’t want for themselves and their families. When applied with incarcerated offenders it help them to understand themselves, perhaps for the first time in their lives. Their increased self-awareness promotes greater introspection and a more mindful approach to life on the outside.
