****POSTPONED BECAUSE OF WEATHER**** Cultural Conversations: From Community Trauma and Division to Hope and Action

January 16 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Free, but register in advance on Eventbrite.

From political divisions that divide families to mass shootings that devastate our sense of peace, what traumas and divisions hold us back from creating more connected, kinder communities? And how do we move forward in the wake of events that shatter our hope and connection?

Join Mayor Ron Nirenberg and Sen. José Menéndez in exploring the topic during our fourth iteration of Cultural Conversations, a dialogue event intended to promote tolerance, celebrate diversity and advocate for inclusive and equitable actions and policies that make San Antonio a more resilient and compassionate city.

Doors will open at 5:30 pm for registration and light refreshments. Programming will start at 6 pm and end at 8 pm. The DreamWeek event includes support and planning from more than half a dozen community partners. Come break bread with your neighbor and share your ideas of how we can inspire each other to build bridges together. Space is limited so please be sure to RSVP.

**Need translation services or other accommodations? Send us an email through Eventbrite to let us know.***
