February 21, 2016 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

UTSA’s African-American Studies Program and Consortium for Social Transformation Presents: “Black History in San Antonio: The Past, Present, and Future.” Join us for a dynamic program featuring thought-provoking discussion panels of community leaders, UTSA professors, and UTSA students. This free, all-ages educational event will present little-known Black History facts, highlight important figures in national and local Black History, and facilitate discussions on facing the challenges in Black America today. Moderated by Dr. Ron Kelley, national speaker and CEO of San Antonio and Austin-based education company NSI, this inaugural program will spark an annual tradition of presenting top-notch Black History education in San Antonio. The event will be held on the UTSA 1604 Campus in the Bexar Room of the HEB University Center, HUC 1.102.
