Affiliated with the international Death Cafe movement – a free-form community conversation about death, with cake!

Everyone is welcome, but this space is being intentionally created and held for members of the LGBTQIA, poly, “alternative” spiritual and free-thinking communities.

End-of-life issues often make for challenging conversation, but that conversation can be further complicated for those of us whose lifestyle and/or spiritual (or nonspiritual) orientation mean that we’re working from a different set of assumptions than many of those around us. AltSA Death Cafe is a place that embraces, even assumes, all of our glorious differences while coming together to talk about the one thing we absolutely all have in common – death.

And there will be cake.
