DESCRIPTION:Affiliated with the international Death Cafe movement – a free-form community conversation about death\, with cake! \nEveryone is welcome\, but this space is being intentionally created and held for members of the LGBTQIA\, poly\, “alternative” spiritual and free-thinking communities. \nEnd-of-life issues often make for challenging conversation\, but that conversation can be further complicated for those of us whose lifestyle and/or spiritual (or nonspiritual) orientation mean that we’re working from a different set of assumptions than many of those around us. AltSA Death Cafe is a place that embraces\, even assumes\, all of our glorious differences while coming together to talk about the one thing we absolutely all have in common – death. \nAnd there will be cake. \n \n
