Since 1995, the all-volunteer and interfaith peaceCENTER continues to be a significant community catalyst for peace in San Antonio, Texas. Compassion and Justice are our strong guiding lights. Contemplative Practices, Experiential Education, and Nonviolent Actions are our working expressions throughout the community at large.

Monday’s Monument: Women’s Memorial, Brockville Ontario, Canada
The Women’s Memorial was dedicated on November 18, 2010 at the Brockville Arts Centre during an unveiling ceremony entitled “Voices of Hope,” a community celebration to end violence against women. The base of the monument is engraved: “This Memorial is dedicated to all the women and girls for whom violence is a daily reality, to those who have died as a result of violence, and to all the women and men who work to end it.”
We are only maintaining the calendar at our Compassionate San Antonio site now.
