RAICES: Community Meeting to Address Welcoming Central American Refugee Influx
We are transitioning to a new location to better serve the families arriving. We are so appreciative of all the support we have received from the community. We are having a community meeting this Saturday to address this crisis and how we can all respond. The Interfaith Welcome Coalition invites you to the Home for the Holidays Luncheon. All proceeds support the important work of Casa RAICES in providing shelter, hope, and healing for families released from the Karnes and Dilley Family Detention facilities. Speakers will discuss the way forward through coming changes in policies that impact refugees and asylum seekers in our community. Home is where the fight is.
