The Wreath Laying Ceremony brings together businesses and organizations to lay wreaths at the MLK, Jr. statue to honor the life, struggles and accomplishments of Dr. King. This year’s guest speaker is Dennis Kennedy, Founder and CEO of the National Diversity Council. The 2.75 mile march will begin at 10 a.m. at the MLK Academy located in the 3500 block of MLK Drive and end at Pittman-Sullivan Park, 1101 Iowa (march route and info).
