Africa & the Slave Trade Presentation
Featured Event for Black History Month Mrs. Beverly J. Harris & Bro. Nias I, having just recently traveled Africa, will give a presentation discussing Africans and the Slave Trade. Topics to be discussed will include: the Concept of the African Disapora, The Concept of the African Slave Trade, Africans in European Art, Africans in Ghana and Forgiveness/Atonement. Come and join us to discuss these topics and view genuine artifacts from their amazing journeys. This event is for adults.

YOUTH LIVES MATTER, hosted by San Anto Cop Watch & End Mass Incarceration San Antonio Chapter, will address the recent police murders involving minors like Andy Lopez out of CA, Jessica Hernandez of out CO, and Kristiana Coignard out of TX. Karnes is expanding from 600 to 1,200 beds and Dilley will operate 2,400 beds at full capacity.
