The UTSA Black Faculty and Staff Association will host the 2015 Black History Knowledge Bowl on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the University Center Denman Room (UC 2.01.28) on the Main Campus. Current UTSA students are eligible to enter the competition. Teams will compete in a double elimination tournament to find out which team knows the most about African American History. Eight Thursdays, 10:00 until noon, starting February 19th at the Rock House Call Brenda at 210-341-1366 x 212 to register. Over the course of eight weeks we will read 48 essays about peace, justice & nonviolence by classic thinkers and practitioners such as Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Dorothy Day.
