Robert A. Bjork is a distinguished research professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research focuses on human learning and memory and the implications of the science of learning for training and instruction. A Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Bjork has received UCLA's Distinguished Teaching Award and the Society of Experimental Psychologists' Norman Anderson Lifetime Achievement Award, among other honors.
