Dr. Kirk-Duggan as a Professor of Religion at Shaw University Divinity School, Raleigh, NC, and an ordained Elder in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. She has written numerous books including co-authoring Wake Up!: Hip Hop, Christianity and the Black Church.
