A complimentary screening of a documentary about incarcerated battered women and their successful clemency legislation, "Sin by Silence" will be followed by a panel and community discussion on the policy on this issue in Texas. Panelists include: Cathy Marston of Free Battered TX Women; Patricia Castillo of the PEACE Initiative; Doshie Piper of the University of the Incarnate Word’s Criminal Justice department; and Bill Bush of Texas A&M San Antonio.
