Women’s History Month Poetry Reading

Listen to readers across generations, poets working language through poetry and prose, fiction, memoir, sound and story. The poets of the Young Women’s Leadership Academy’s Young Poets Society and their teacher and advisor, poet Michelle Grajeda, bring the experiences and personal visions of San Antonio youth to a dialogue with the Bihl Haus GO! Arts Goldens and their teacher, poet Jim LaVilla-Havelin. Response from their perspective of decades of life and change, will focus the Golden Writers on women, history and making change through creative response. And this dialogue/poetry reading/gathering will also present both groups tackling the creative challenge of entering one another’s head
