Wear Orange Rockin’ Rally to End Gun Violence

June 2, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

June 2nd is National Gun Violence Prevention Awareness Day. While some say there’s nothing we can do to prevent the 91 Americans who die daily, that’s untrue. There’s so much we as individuals and communities can do to save lives while respecting the 2nd Amendment. Come on out June 2 to The Friendly Spot from 6-8 p.m. with musical guest Mitch Webb & friends including activities for the kids. Be sure to wear orange! www.wearorange.org

Please invite friends, family and anyone else in the community by sharing the link on this page publicly on social media, emails, etc. to get more folks out to the event. RSVP: http://act.everytown.org/event/2016-wear-orange-events/2827/signup/?source=conf
San Antonio is quickly securing its place as a leader in the gun violence prevention movement with Mayor Ivy Taylor joining the Mayors Against Illegal Guns coalition and more than 200 San Antonians showing up to Moms Demand Action’s Wear Orange event at The Pearl in December. Let’s be loud and proud about gun sense on June 2 and WEAR ORANGE. www.wearorange.org
