Vigil in Support of the “100 Women 100 Miles” Pilgrimage

Friday September 11, after the 6:00pm mass, Vigil in Support of the “100 Women 100 Miles” Pilgrimage, Our Lady of the Guadalupe Church, 1321 El Paso St., San Antonio. Women from San Antonio will form part of the pilgrimage, taking the message of the mothers and children unjustly held in family detention, to Pope Francis during his visit to Washington, D.C. This is part of the “We Belong Together” campaign. The vigil is sponsored by Southwest Workers Union, Domesticas Unidas, and the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center.
