The Color of Blind Opening Reception

March 27, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Free

The Color of Blind is pleased to be showing at The City of San Antonio’s Plaza De Armas this year.
Curated by Creator Trina Bacon and Kristel Orta-Puente

The exhibition continues April 17th-20th
Monday-Friday 8-5pm
115 Plaza De Armas San Antonio, 78205.

First debuting in 2013, The Color of Blind allows visually impaired, special sensory needs and children a show specifically dedicated to redefining participants’ “vision” of art. Local artists from every medium and every level of expertise participate creating work designed to entice smell, touch, and taste for a sensory perception unlike any other art show. The Color of Blind’s dream is for the San Antonio community to invest in building the first art museum for the visually impaired and special needs community in the United States.

“The Color of Blind shows are always free to the public. This show is our way of starting a new movement for the arts community. Everyone should be able to fully experience art, through our transformative efforts, we strive to say, ‘Yes’- please touch the art!”-creator and curator Trina Bacon.
