SoL Center Class — Education Inequality: Seeds and Perpetuations of Injustice

Explore the dynamics and realities of education inequality in San Antonio and our broader community. The course will look into how these inequalities perpetuate injustices across generations.

Abigail Morton-Garland graduated from Baylor University. She is Co-School Leader of KIPP University Prep High School and led the school to achieve International Baccalaureate Diploma Program authorization in the spring of 2016. She has worked at an international school in Guatemala and Teach For America in the Rio Grande Valley. After many years with IDEA Public Schools in Donna, Texas, Abby now lives in her hometown, San Antonio, with her husband John and daughters Aurora (6) and Azalea (4).
