We’re doing something very special to commemorate our 20th Anniversary. San Antonio Sustainable Living is teaming up with EcoCentro just off the San Antonio College campus at 1802 N. Main Ave. Starting this month (Feb. 24th), we are moving our regular 4th Tuesdays meetings to Eco Centro. Apart from the change in location, the dates and times (7pm) remain the same. The William Sinkin EcoCentro is a building that is much more directly related to SASL and our mission to encourage and promote appropriate design and construction and systems techniques. There will always be plenty of free parking, and the link with EcoCentro positions SASL strongly with other related green and sustainable efforts in the area.
The presenter for the February meeting will be Brad Kittel of Tiny Texas Houses. Tiny homes and ultra-compact design is a very hot topic today, but Brad has been building dozens of examples of Tiny homes using primarily salvaged materials he’s been able to procure from years of salvage work near Gonzales, Texas. To learn more about the amazing work Brad has been providing, go to www.tinytexashouses.com for more information.
