Patrick N. Allitt is a professor of American history at Emory University in Atlanta. He is an expert on religion and environmentalism and is author of the book A Climate of Crisis: America in the Age of Environmentalism. He has also written about American Catholics and the environment.
A lecture will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. followed by a book signing and reception at 8:30 p.m. The lecture is part of the Lin Great Speaker Series and the Catholic Intellectual Traditions series.
