Memorial Service: Lazarus Ministry

Lazarus invites you to participate in monthly services for persons who have died In Bexar County and have been unable to afford a burial. As of this date, thirty six persons have died without a memorial since the beginning of this year.
Bexar County provides for the burial. However we have recently learned that there have been no services. We will provide a monthly service for those who have died and were buried at First Memorial Park Cemetery in Van Ormy.
On the third Saturday of the month at 11 am we will meet and pray, read poems, sing and call out the names one by one with a bell rung for each. Our first gathering will be on Saturday March 19, 2016 at First Memorial Cemetery.at 11 am.

Similar to the Tobit Ministry which provides a funeral for the homeless, we will honor those who have died.
