The March for Science champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.
ATTENTION SAN ANTONIANS!
Let’s band together in the streets of downtown San Antonio to celebrate science as a whole! Recent Policy changes have had the scientific community worried, but this is our chance to step out of the lab and unite in solidarity to be heard! Show the world what you think is cool about science, and express yourself!
Are you particularly proud of that quad-copter that you built? Cool! Bring it!
Do you return your lab coat to its locker after manning the triple-beam all day? Not this time, rock it like a boss!
What about those tomatoes that you’ve been growing with your custom compost mixture? Yum, we’re hungry! For science!
The marching will start at 10am in San Pedro Park.
There will be activities and speaker sessions going on throughout the event time – stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks!
