Dr. Ashanté Reese ’07, assistant professor of Anthropology and Sociology at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, presents a lecture titled “Mapping Injustice: Race, Redlining, and Unequal Food Access.” Her areas of research include food access, food and culture, race and place, race and health (particularly diabetes), and class.

This lecture is supported by the Lecturers and Visiting Scholars Committee, FYE’s Food Matters and Social Justice, Departments of English, History, Psychology, Sociology & Anthropology, African American Studies, and Human Communication & Theatre.
