Lecture: Emancipation & Commemoration: Abraham Lincoln & Harriet Tubman in History & Memory

Join the University Library and History Program as they proudly present Dr. Catherine Clinton, Gilbert M. Denman Endowed Professor in American History from UTSA on February 11 in the Vista Room of the Central Academic Building at Main Campus. Dr. Clinton’s presentation, Emancipation & Commemoration: Abraham Lincoln & Harriet Tubman in History & Memory is free and open to the public. Her presentation is in conjuction with the Civil War 150 project, an initiative meant to encourage public exploration of the impact of the Civil War and is sponsored by the Library of America, the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Refreshments will be provided.
